Why are so many different Inspectors
There are a lot of Inspectors in ChromaChecker because ChromaChecker tracks more secondary variables which can adversely affect the manufacturing of color.
There are 5 types of Inspectors within Chromachecker
1. Organization Standards/Reference Inspectors
Provides company to define their production standards and references for their manufacturing process. These include Color Library, E-Factor Inspector, Spot Color Exercise
2. Production Inspectors
Collects and analyzes production data. Production Inspectors include: Print Inspector, Color Inspector, and Display Inspector.
3. Adjustment Inspectors
Inspectors that adjust the color to help bring color back into alignment. Examples include: ICC Profile Inspector, G7 Curve Inspector, SCCA Inspector, TVI Inspector, Spot Color LUT Inspector,
4. Secondary Variables which affect Production Inspectors
Collects and analyzes secondary variables which can adversely affect the manufacturing of color. These include Instrument Inspector, Lighting Inspector, Substrate Inspector, Environment Inspector, Plate Inspector, Nip Inspector, Fountain Solution Inspector
5. Administration Inspectors
Inspectors that manage employee responsibilities and creates reports and system notifications to ensure employees are performing their required tasks. Includes Accountability Inspector and Performance Inspector.
